About Me
Hey, I'm Anthony.
I'm a tech enthusiast who likes to build things. If it involves hardware, software, or ideally both, I'm probably interested. This site is where I document my projects — some practical, some ridiculous, all fun.
What I Do
By day, I work in tech. By night, I run a homelab that's grown way beyond what any reasonable person needs in their house. Current infrastructure includes:
- Qdrant — Vector database for AI memory systems
- Redis — Fast buffer for real-time data
- Ollama — Local LLM inference (qwen3, mxbai-embed-large)
- True-Recall — A JARVIS-like persistent memory system for AI assistants
- Various other services — More containers than I'd like to admit
Philosophy
I believe in learning by building. Every project on this site started with "I wonder if I could..." and ended with either a working solution or a spectacular failure. Both are valuable.
I also believe in self-hosting when it makes sense. There's something satisfying about running your own infrastructure — knowing exactly where your data lives and having complete control over your tools.
This Site
Built with Astro, styled with Tailwind CSS, self-hosted on Docker with nginx. Fast, simple, no tracking, no nonsense.
The site runs in a Docker container on my homelab, served via nginx. This gives me full control over hosting and makes it easy to integrate with my other self-hosted services like the AI-powered search.
Check out the Lab Status page to see the live status of all my infrastructure.
Experiments & Side Projects
Not everything fits neatly into "homelab" or "builds." Sometimes I go down rabbit holes that lead to AI-powered deepfake experiments — face swaps, movie recasts, and learning how neural networks process faces. It's the same spirit of curiosity, just with more GPU hours.
